Falmouth provides the ideal base for a charter holiday. Steeped in maritime history, the area offers not only an abundance of unspoilt rivers and harbours on the doorstep, but also is the perfect starting point for longer cruises.

Our range of charter boats from 26ft to 40ft continues to be updated and includes yachts by Bavaria, Sadler, Westerly and Hunter. Our boats are based at Falmouth Yacht marina with its full range of facilities, easy pontoon access, large car park and excellent restaurant bar overlooking the river.

Carrick Roads and the Fal estuary form one of the worlds largest natural harbours. Restronguet Creek, St Just in Roseland, Mylor and St Mawes are all within its sheltered waters providing safe sailing. The Helford River is only a short sea passage away, whilst a leisurely day sail will take you to Mevagissey or Fowey.

For more information about booking, availability and prices please contact us. Don't hesitate to give us a ring (9am - 9pm, 7 days a week), if you have any queries, no matter how small, as you will be talking to a friendly and experienced instructor who will be pleased to advise you.

RYA Training
If you want to be a certified sailor then there's no better place to get that certificate as our keel boat sailing school enjoys both RYA and NFSS recognition. We can provide tuition for RYA Keelboat courses from levels 1 to 5. Cornish Cruising is probably one of the least commercial sailing schools you will find anywhere in the British Isles. Run as a way of life, the love of the sea is a common denominator for all concerned. The school, which is RYA approved, teaches yachting and shorebased courses for 50 weeks a year from our base at Falmouth Yacht Marina. On practical courses we always keep numbers low and have a maximum of 4 students to an instructor, who are all full time profession seamen whose main aim is to pass on their knowledge in a cheerful and confidence-inspiring way.
Why not come to Falmouth and join a 5 day Sailing Course; 'Competent Crew', 'Day or Coastal Skipper' and 'Yachtmaster'. Experienced instructors, sound sea boats and the safe waters of the Carrick Roads make Falmouth the ideal place to enjoy learning to sail or improving your sailing skills.
