Restronguet ( 3 miles north of Falmouth). A peaceful waters edge hamlet near the mouth of Restronguet Creek, at the north west corner of the Fal Estuary, one of the finest sailing and boating waters in the country. Ideal for an 'away from the crowd' holiday without being isolated, with the thatched 13th century Pandora Inn nearby, noted for its bar snacks and restaurant. Free use for tenants of our large privately owned quay, beach and extensive water frontage, just across the road from Marlow, giving facilities for boats, fishing, swimming etc. - these facilities are not available to the general public. Deep water moorings may be arranged. Picturesque walks along the creek edge with opportunity for bird and boat watching.

Accommodation

Marlow (Sleeps 6 + 2)
A delightful spacious house, well appointed to a very high standard. Marble and carpeted wood block floors downstairs and carpeted throughout upstairs. Though attached there is a thick party wall. the large sheltered garden on three sides with lawns and many flowering shrubs gives privacy. The camellias and azaleas are a delight in Spring. Ample parking space near the door.
Full central heating and a wood burning stove.
Entrance Hall - with telephone. Cloakroom - with basin, shower, wc and automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Lounge (20' x 18') - with colour TV and Video. Dining Room (13' x 12') can be converted into a fourth bedroom with built in 4'6 Wentel Bed. Kitchen/Breakfast Room (17' x 9') - with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 - with 4'6" divan, Bedroom 2 - with two 3' divans, Bedroom 3 - with 4'6" divan. Bathroom with 6' bath with shower, basin and WC. There is room for a cot or single folding bed in Bedrooms 1 and 2.

The Quarter Deck (Sleeps 4 + 1)
Very comfortably furnished and equipped, it is the self contained garden wing of my house. All rooms are on one level with no one above or below. Though close, the presence of the Pandora Inn and Restaurant, is rarely noticeable. Good water and garden views and use of the large shrubbed garden. There is no telephone, but messages can be taken. Use of automatic washing machine and drying facilities. the rental includes electricity, own hot water supply and central heating when necessary. There is ample free parking on my private quay or adjacent to the house. Reached by fifteen stone steps to a paved terrace and patio door entrance to :-
Living Room (20' x 15') - windows on three sides and open fireplace, colour TV and Video. Inner Hall leading to Galley kitchen - cooker, fridge and microwave etc. Bathroom - bath with shower, basin and WC. Bedroom with twin 3' divans and room for a single folding bed or cot.

Rhinos Barn (Sleeps 2 + 2)
Adjacent to Marlow, a character barn conversion with beamed ceilings. The main entrance is via the garden and patio into the upper level through to the kitchen/Living Room - approx. 12' x 28' featuring vaulted beamed ceilings with windows on four sides with garden and water views. the kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. the Living area includes a double sofa bed and colour TV. A spiral staircase leads to the ha;; with lower entrance door. Bathroom with basin, WC and shower over bath. Bedroom 1 with 4'6" divan, Bedroom 2 with twin 3' divans. Rental includes all electricity and night storage radiators (when necessary). Ample parking space.

All houses have free use of a large private quay, slipway and beach for boats, sailboards, fishing or swimming. A dinghy with oars and outboard motor is usually available for shared use of tenants - for which there is a charge for fuel. A small barbecue is available at each property.

Directions
To reach Restronguet: Leave Truro on the Falmouth road (A39). After about five miles the Norway Inn is on the right. Take the first (steeper) or the second turning on the left following the signs to Restronguet. After about two and a half miles turn left at the crossroads to Restronguet Passage. At the bottom of the steep hill, turn left for Marlow and Rhinos Barn, (150 yards on the left) or turn right for Quarter Deck across the front of Pandora inn and up the drive to the gate at corner of house to unload your car. Entrance to rear of house, up steps.
